Former Senator of Kaduna central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani has donated hundred thousand naira cash to a 45 year widow Jummai Haruna to take care of her sick children.
Jummai a widow and mother of 8 children had to sell her door for N1500 to raise cash to start the treatment of her sick children.
Making the donation on behalf of the Senator, the Personal Assistant (PA) to him, Mr. Suleiman Ahmed said that many Nigerians are dying of hunger and starvation.
He called on the government to review and reconsider the essence of opening the borders so that it will balance the hike prices of food item.
He equally lamented that government has failed in many areas in terms of infrastructure, economic development and many other aspect of life.
“insecurity has become overwhelmed that every Nigeria is afraid irrespective of your position, we call on our leaders and well meaning Nigerians to support people around especially in this time of hardship”.
In appreciation, Mrs Haruna appreciated Senator Sani and prayed to God to replenish him.
According to her, the financial assistance will go a long way to assist them particularly in paying for the bills.
